


Students in grade 8 shall have the opportunity to take high school courses in mathematics and in at least one of the following areas: English, social studies, languages other than English, art, music, career and technical education subjects, and science courses.Īdditional Flexibility Available Under Section 80-5.12 of Commissioner’s Regulations: Library and information skills instruction provided the equivalent of one period per week in grades 7 and 8.
